Mrs. Mercey E. Soule, 78, widow of Fred Soule, who died in 1924, died at her home, 228 Yoemans street, Tuesday afternoon, March 12 at 3 o'clock. The funeral services will be conducted from home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. W.F. Kendrick. The interment will take place in Palo.
Mrs. Soule was a native of New York, and came to Michigan when a young woman. Many years of her life was spent in the vicinity of Carson City; but of late years she has lived in Ionia.
She leaves threes daughters, Mrs. Catherine Monger, and Bessie Low, of Ionia and Mrs. Ethel Maloney of Carson City, and a sister, Sarah E. Wellwood, Carson City.
Mercey and Jacob Low had one other child Dan W. Soule Born January 16, 1885 in Bushnell Township, Montcalm County, Michigan and died January 17, 1967 in California.
