DEATH OF MRS. AINSWORTH
Funeral services over the remains of Mary Jane Ainsworth were held in the Third ward meeting house yesterday at noon. Deceased died on Monday after a lingering illness, she was 93 years of age and leaves four sons and one daughter. She was born in England and moved here to Sevier valley in 1868. She was the mother of 19 children and her life has been one of much suffering.
Her husband died Glenwood in 1880. At that time they were living on a farm between Glenwood and Venice. Subsequently they owned a place on Loss Creek but fire destroyed all their holdings there. At the funeral yesterday, Joseph J. Horne, John W. Coons and Bishop Coons were the speakers and they spoke words of comfort to the sorrowing relatives. Interment was at Glenwood where the old lady was laid to rest beside her husband.
