The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Thursday, September 23, 1915

Mrs. John Baxter died at her home in Muir Thursday forenoon after a long, lingering illness at the age of 72 years. She was born in Canada and spent the most of her life in Michigan. She leaves to mourn her loss, a husband, one daughter, Mrs. Geo. Davis, of Lansing, one son, Frank Badder of Cheboygan; two sisters, Mrs. Wm. Garrett of Ionia, and Mrs. Amby Goodnough of Stanton; three brothers, Archie Badder of Ionia; Dave Badder of Stanton and Henry Badder of Jennings, and many other relatives, friends and neighbors.

The funeral was held Monday morning at the Church of Christ, Rev. Keene officiating. Burial was in Tuttle cemetery where her parents are buried. The friends from out of town who were here to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Davis and son Forest of Lansing, Dave Badder and wife and Mrs. Frank Greenhoe of Stanton, Mrs. Elton Leighter of Edmore, Mrs. Fred Schoch and daughter Grace of Millbrook and Messrs. Wm. Garrett, Archie Badder, Melvin Badder, Charles Badder with their wives of Ionia, also Job Kingston, Mrs. Allen Barden, Mrs. Possell and Howard Blow of Ionia.
