Mrs. Louisa Elens, 68, long time resident of Orange township was found dead in a rocking chair at her home by her son William when he returned about 11 o'clock Saturday night from a West Sebewa store.
County Coroner Harry Myers, who was called, said the woman had been dead for several hours and the cause was a heart attack.
Surviving are the son, William, at home, Peter and John of Joliet, IL, Frank of Detroit and two daughters, Mrs. Julia McPherson of Belding and Mrs. Margaret McArthur of Ionia.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon, January 12, at 2 o'clock from the Myers funeral home with Rev. Paul Stewart officiating.
Interment will be at the Tuttle cemetery." Pallbearers were I.T. Fletcher, William Leyer, William Goodemoot, V. Goodemoot, Herbert Thorp and Ora Walkington.
