VAN BUREN RESIDENT PASSED AWAY TUESDAY
DAVID ANDERSON HAD BEEN IN FAILING HEALTH FOR SEVERAL MONTHS
David Anderson, widely known resident of Van Buren Township, passed away at 3:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, his death being caused by cerebral hemorrhage. He had been in failing health for several months, and although his death was not entirely unexpected, the announcement is received with deepest sorrow and regret by his many friends throughout the community.
Mr. Anderson was born Feb. 15, 1845, and at the time of his death, was 79 years, 8 months and 14 days old. He had spent the greater part of his lifetime in Shelby County and had been engaged in farming for many years. He is survived by two sons, William and John Anderson, and two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Beasley and Mrs. Mary Kaster, all of Van Buren Township.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the Vine Street M.P. Church, with the Rev. L.C. Murr, pastor of the West St., M.E. Church, officiating. Burial will be made in the Miller Cemetery, in charge of H.A. Hageman, of the M.H. Sleeth undertaking establishment.
