Pearl Elizabeth Ressler Croyle, 87, of Salisbury, died Monday, Dec. 5, 2005, at Genesis Eldercare. Mrs. Croyle was born in Indiana County, Pa., a daughter of Lowry and Kathryn Wagner Ressler. She was educated in the Pennsylvania Schools. She was a homemaker and very noted for her artistry in crocheting afghans and other crafts. She was a member of East Corinth Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Leroy Croyle, and a daughter, Linda Joyce Croyle. Survivors include sons Chester Croyle Jr. of Spencer and Robert William Croyle of Thomasville; grandchildren Marla Young of Mooresville, Jerry Croyle and Scott Croyle of Salisbury and Casey Croyle of Thomasville; and great-granddaughter Anna Young of Mooresville. Service : Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Powles Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Jerry Reardon, pastor of Oakland Heights Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the East Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation : The family will be at the Powles Funeral Home from 6-8 tonight.
