Second Lieut. Henry, W. Payne, 65th Training Squadron RAF/RFC. Also his brother, Lieut. Horace, A. Payne, born 1896, died 18th March, 1918 and buried in France. How proud their parents must have been that both their sons were accepted as pilots for the newly-formed RAF, yet they lost both of them within a week.
