Dee, age 52, of Vein Mountain area, Nebo, N.C. died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2008. She was the daughter of Robert and Patricia Ann (Allen) Lute. She married James Michael Wheatcroft on April 13, 1991. She was preceded in death by her son, Frankie Bitner. Survivors include her step-daughters, Chrissy and Melissa, her siblings, Mark Harkal and Candice Beight, and seven grandchildren. Graveside services were held at Vein Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery.
