As Abraham "Johnes," Abraham Jones was baptized on October 19, 1628 at Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire, England; the eldest son of Thomas Jones and his wife Anna (Linney) Jones.
In April 1638, at about years old, Abraham immigrated with his parents on the ship "Confidence" bound for New England.
