Mildred Cogan (Lewellan)(Singer)(Morse) and
Thelma Cogan (Manis).
Goldie's husband, James died
on 07 Jan 1921.
She then married
Anthony Monahan
on 04 May 1922 in
Indianapolis, Marion Co., IN.
They had two children:
Marjorie Lucille Monahan (Potrzebowski)and
Norma J. Monahan (Creamer).

Goldie L. Monahan, 86, died
at Dickey Nursing Home at
5 p. m. Thursday evening after
an extended illness.
She was born August 23rd,
1889 in Frankford, Indiana. She
was the daughter of Jole and
Nancy Wright. She married
James Cogan in 1907. He died
in 1921. She later married Tony
Monahan. He died in 1947.
Survivors include four
daughters, Mrs. Lawerence
Creamer of Elwood, Mrs.
Mildred Lewellan of Clear-
water, Florida; Mrs. Dorothy
Gross of Sarasota, Florida;
and Mrs. Marjorie Potr-
zebowski of Westville,
Indiana; one son Irvin Cogan
of Elwood; two step daughters,
Mrs. Georgia Bushemi of East
Gary and Mrs. Dallas Tucker
of East Gary and several
grandchildren and great
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be
Saturday at 2 p. m. with the
Rev. Ed Finley officiating.
Services will be held in the
Copher and Fesler Funeral
Home and burial will be at the
Elwood City Cemetery.
Friends may call at the
funeral home from 2 to 9 p.m.
