He and Violet Cletes Sanders were married Nov. 29, 1930 at Kaw City.
He had lived at Sasakwa 17 years before moving to Konawa where he had been the past 42 years. He retired after 35 years as a pipline construction owner.
He was a 32nd degree Mason, a Shriner and a member of the Oddfellow Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Violet, of the home: one son, Mike Hailey, Konawa, and one daughter, Mary Miller, Konawa; four grandchildren and one great grandchild; one brother, Brooks Hailey, Eufaula and one sister, Pearl Gaines, Holdenville.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
