Albert married Ludah "Lutie" Baker on 2 February 1893 in White County, Illinois.
Albert and Lutie had one child, Fredrick, who was born on 30 November 1893. Research has not turned up any evidence for where Albert' wife is buried. In an obituary for Albert and Lutie's son, Fred, the spelling of her first name was given as "Laddie."
There was once a metal funeral home marker to mark his place of burial, but that is no longer to be found. The Jefferson County genealogical group photographed all the markers and stones in all of the cemeteries of JCO in 1999-2000, and the metal marker was in place at the time. A permanent gravestone seems to have never been added to Sursa.
