The deceased Brother Jesse Osmond (Osborn) Harris was born in Floyd County on June 23, 1867.
Brother Harris and Sister Mattie Harris were married at Friendship Primitive Baptist Church on the 27th of December, 1903.
Brother Harris united with Friendship Church in the month of August, 1913 and remained a member in good standing until his death.
They were blessed with seven children, two of which proceeded him in death. The remaining are; Roy Vance, Gertrude Estelle, Darthula, Ruby Hazel, and Jesse Mannon.
Brother Harris passed away on January 15, 1955. The funeral services were held in the Ringgold Baptist Church with Elder A J Sims and Elder T J Hatch officiating.
The body of Friendship Church wish to extend their sympathy to the family of Brother Harris, whom he left behind.
