FRAMETOWN - Robert Bruce Friend, 82, of Frametown, Braxton County, died June 6, 1997, in Braxton Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
He was a farmer, timberman, railroad worker, and an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving; brothers, Burley Friend of Gasport, N.Y., Byrne Friend of Sutton, Odbert Friend of Charleston; sister, Susie James of Gassaway; several nieces and nephews.
Service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway, with the Rev. Homer Graham officiating. Burial will be in Frame Cemetery, Frametown. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
