Cecil Byrne Jackson, Sr, 99, of Frametown, died February 4, 2011, at Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center, Clarksburg. He was born August 13, 1911, in Sutton, a son of the late Oscar Byrne Jackson and Elizabeth Ann Duffield/ Jackson. He was a construction worker, plumber and timberman. He worked for the B&O Railroad and Kenton Meadows Construction Company and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a Methodist by faith. Surviving are his son, Cecil B. Jackson, Jr. of Frametown; daughter, Rosemary Barker of Frametown; grandchildren, Jason Jackson, Angie McCumbers and David Harris; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Tyo Jackson, two brothers and two sisters. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway, with the Rev. Robey Godfrey officiating. Burial with military rites will be in the Frame Cemetery, Frametown.
