Florence Heath was born June 29, 1908 in Wilson, Michigan, the daughter of Matthew and Rose (Elliott) Heath and had attended the Escanaba High School and Cloverland Commercial College.
Her husband Robert Dufresne whom she married in 1926, preceded her in death in 1935.
Florence Dufresne worked as a Deputy Register of Deeds in Delta County, had worked at St. Francis Hospital in the Accounting Dept. from 1952 to 1958 and had worked with auditors as cashier at the U.P. State Fair for many years.
She was a former member of the B.P.W., the Escanaba Womans Club, the V.F.W. Auxiliary, the League of Woman Voters, The Escanaba Country Club Bridge League, the Delta County Historical Society, the Volunters for the Arts Center, and past member of St. Patrick Church and it's Alter Society. She was persently a member of St. Anne Church.
She was survived by:

4 Grandchildren: Richard (Sandy) Kobasic of Phoenix, Arizona; Nancy Widzer of Tustin, Calif.; Laura Redmond of Upper Marlboro, Md.; Carol (Bill) Trent of Hoboken, New Jersey
4 Great Grandchildren: Brandon Roth, Jackie and Jules Kobasic and Julienne Trent
