Shaine Edward Green 18, of Shawnee, died Sunday in an automobile accident west of Asher.
He was born March 20,1985 in Ada to Herschel Edward and Candyce(Pruitt) Green.
He was a senior at Pregue High school, where he played basketball and had a 4.0 grade point average. He was a member of the Naional Honor Society and Who's Who Among American Students.
He served in the Army National Guard and the Civial Air Patrol. Green received the Civil air Patrol Certificate of Appreciation, Billy Mitchell Award, Young Eagle Award and the Goverment Award.
He is a member of Johnson Church of god, where he ran the sound equipment and taught on Wednesday nights.
He lived in Shawnee all his life.
He was proceeded in deasth by his grandparents, Loretha and Warner Pruitt and Carolyn Green.
Survivors include his parents, Herschell and Candyce Green of the home; sisiter, Kristen Green of the home; grandparents Charles and Sue Green of Shawnee, Paul and Trudy Pruitt of chandler and Jackie Fields of Choctaw.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Prague with the Rev. Charles Higgins officiating, assasted by the Rev. Charles Green. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker Funeral Services of Shawnee.
