Helen Patricia was born in Roby, Illinois, the daughter of Dallas & Helen [Howard] Stout. She was a member of Herrick Baptist Church. She married Bradley Boyd Beck on September 3, 1981. They were both killed in a head-on auto collision. The driver of the other car was charged with DUI.
They are survived by sons; Brooks Beck, Deuel Pickens, & Flagan Pickens, and daughters; Rachel & Tina Beck. Three grandchildren; Helen's mother, Helen Stout,
Helen's six brothers; Jerry, Jimmy, Fred, Dale, Larry, Dallas, and five sisters, & Bradley's 3 sisters; Clarice, Challys, & Elaine.
