Ernest J. Bowman, 94, of Fergus Falls, formerly of Ashby, died Monday, Feb. 1, 1999, at Broen Memorial Home in Fergus Falls. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Grue Lutheran Church of rural Ashby, with the Rev. Allyne M. Holz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., at Nilson Funeral Home in Ashby and one hour prior to the service at the church. Glende-Johnson-Nelson and Nilson Funeral Home of Ashby is in charge of arrangements.
