These dates are from Chester A. Peters, compiler, Some Descendants of Anthony Dierdorff, Jr. (Garden Grove, CA 92641: Printed by Impact Graphics, unknown), 50. I have been unable to verify these dates.

Margaret's father, Peter, signed his will in German script: Peter Schreiber. His will was signed 5 December 1830, and probate was opened 2 February 1831.

Margaret's siblings were: Magdalena ("Helen"), Sarah, Catharine, Rosanna, Andrew, Peter, Justine, John, Luther, and Henry.

An Orphan's Court Document lists all the heirs and legal representatives of Peter Schreiber/Schriver. (Orphans' Court rule on all the heirs and legal representatives, Peter Schreiber, 1831, Manchester Township. Estate Files 1749-1899, York County Archives, York, Pennsylvania.)

Inscription

Margaret's marker was vandalized many years ago, before the Elkhart County Genealogical Society read this cemetery. You can read Dierdorff on the marker, but that is all. It is possible that someone had dates from her marker before the vandalism and reported them to Mr. Peters. His book was printed in the late 1970s.

There is a row of four markers, all Dierdorff markers: Isaac is next to the broken stone, Agnes and Melvin are next to Isaac's stone. Melvin's stone is not visible in the photograph above.
