MIDDLEBURG — Richard Seaton Norviel, 75, of Middleburg, died Wednesday morning in his residence.
He was born Dec 20 1909, in Logan County, a son of Lewis and Ella Jane (Seaton) Norviel.
He was superintendent and a former board member of the Union Chapel Church in West Liberty. He was a retired farmer and former performance supervisor of the Logan County Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service office.
Survivors include one son, Richard Lee Norviel of Lancaster; two daughters Mrs. Grover (Roberta) Hardy of Springfield and Mrs. Boyd (Sandra) Oliver of Ashville; two sisters, Mrs. Donna Patrick of West Mansfield and Mrs. Georgia McGrath of Columbus; and five grandchildren.
Three brothers are deceased.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the Union Chapel Church in West Liberty with the Rev. James Robison officiating.
Burial will be in Middleburg Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Schnurrenberger Funeral Home in West Mansfield.
Contributions may be made to the memorial fund of Mr. Norviel's church.
