My 2nd Great-Uncle George was the son of Caleb Brown Jr. and Missouri Greenland Brown. He was married to Emma Amelia Bennett (1871-1904). They had the following children:
(1) Lillian Vera Brown Gearhart (1894-1977)
(2) Guy Caleb Brown (1895-1952)
(3) Mary Brown Mundy Weaver (1897-1978)
(4) Alda Ruth Brown McWha (1900-1957)
(5) Roxie Brown (1901-1903)

George's dead body was found on the train tracks at Saxton, Pa. His cause of death was not known. It was believed that he was struck by a train, as both legs were cut off close to his body and both arms were crushed. George had been employed as a bridger at the Saxton Furnace in Saxton, Pa.
