Robert J. ‘Bob' Allen, 60, of Conshohocken, a retired pharmacy technician, died on Wednesday, Dec. 31. He was born in Norristown on Sept. 8, 1948, son of the late Howard J. ‘Buck' and Marie J. (Marwood) Allen.
Bob graduated the former St. Matthew High School Class of 1966. He then graduated Penn State University Class of 1970. Bob attended law school at the University of Tennessee. He was employed by the former Sacred Heart Hospital as a pharmacy technician for 20 plus years. More recently, he was a warehouseman for Library Video Tech.
Bob loved all things to do with sports, especially Penn State football.
He is survived by: a brother, Howard ‘Bud' (Rosalie) Allen of Collegeville; a sister, Cathy Allen (Joseph) Dewees of Norristown; many nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews.
