Mrs. Minnie L. Ward, 74, of Springfield died at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday at her residence. Mrs. Ward was a member of Central Baptist Church and Altiara Sunday School Class. She was born in Greensburg, Ky., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Other McCubbin.

Preceding her in death were several brothers and sisters. Surviving are her husband Bruce; one son, James of Chatham; and two grandchildren.

Services at Central Baptist Church with Dr. Roger Compton officiating. Private burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
