H P Walters Buried at Wesley Chapel
Henry Perryman Walters of Star Route, Houston, a lifelong resident of Chickasaw county, died in the Houston Hospital at 4:15 pm, August 17 at the age of 75.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 pm on Aug. 18, 1972 from the Houston Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Ira Bright and Rev. Oren Vance officiating. Interment was in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Rex Walters, Rad Walters, Sam Smith, Malcolm Walters, William Alford, and Kenneth Pettit.
Born in this county Sept. 7, 1896, he was the son of Susan Ellen West and Lee Walters. He was a retired farmer and a veteran of WW I.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Husie Clark Walters, three sons, Henry Haskell Walters of Houston, Harold Van Walters and Rufus Walters both of Memphis.
