Funeral services for Merrill Leland Anderson, 63, of Hillsboro, Oregon, formerly of Correctionville and Sioux City who passed away Sunday, July 23, 1972, were held Thursday, July 27, at 2 p.m. at the Barker Funeral Home in Correctionville.

Allen Burnham, pastor of the Church of Christ, officiated at the services. Interment was in the Correctionville Cemetery.

Merrill Leland Anderson, son of Claude and Bertha Coon Anderson, was born July 26, 1908, at Correctionville. On November 27, 1928, he was united in marriage to Myrna King.

They resided at Correctionville until 1942.

Mr. Anderson formerly owned an apartment house in Sioux City, Iowa. They also lived in Richland and Hanford, Washington, before moving to Hillsboro, Oregon.

Survivors include the widow, two sons, Gary of Seattle and Carroll of Albany, Oregon, his mother, Mrs. Bertha Anderson of Correctionville, four brothers, Orville of Richland, Oregon, Donald and Lowell of Marine, Illinois, and Clifford of Coveyville, Illinois, and three grandchildren
