MR. T. J. SHIPLEY DIES

Mr. T. J. Shipley, 64, died at his home near Glasgow Junction Monday evening after an illness of six days of pneumonia. Mr. Shipley was an outstanding figure in his section, a man of unquestionable worth to his neighborhood. He was a member of the Vernon Christian church and always stood for, and practiced living for the better things of life. He was highly respected by all who knew him and his presence among his neighbors will be missed.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cora Shipley and three sons, Mr. T. J. Shipley, Jr., Glasgow Junction, Roy Shipley, California, and Burnett Shipley, Baltimore; one daughter, Miss Mildred Shipley, Glasgow Junction; three brothers, Ben Shipley, Columbus, Ohio, Moss Shipley, Louisville, and A. A. Shipley, Glasgow Junction, one sister, Mrs. Henry Martin, Louisville.

Funeral services were held a the Walnut Hill Baptist church, near Glasgow Junction Wednesday, and burial was in that cemetery.
