1673 Pvt Alfred Avons Porter born Liverpool, 1878. He was the son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Porter. They lived at West Bank Road, Fairfield, Liverpool. Alfred was a Commercial Travelling Salesman in Drapery, before the war. He joined the Denbighshire Hussars, based at Hightown Barracks, Wrexham. Alfred died of illness 23rd May 1916.
