Carrie Belle Blaker, 107, of Mt. Morris R.D. 1, died in her home at 11:30 a.m. Monday, February 10, 1986.
She was born March 29, 1878, in Perry Township, a daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Fox Hickman.
On October 30, 1897, she married Milton Fordyce Blaker, who died October 4, 1924.
Mrs. Blaker attended school in Perry and Whiteley townships and worked on the family farm. She was a member of the Claughton Chapel.
Surviving are her daugher-in-law, Mildred Blaker of Mt. Morris R.D. 1, with whom she made her home; one grandson, Willis G. Blaker Jr., of Mt. Morris R.D. 1; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a son, Willis G. Blaker; two sisters, Mary Ellen Vance and Viola Fordyce; and one brother, William Henry Hickman.
