Forney L. Dulaney, 103, of Spraggs, died at 9:20 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2000, in Bialko's Rest Home, Waynesburg. He was born November 6, 1896, a son of Walter and Ida L. Headlee Dulaney. Mr. Dulaney was a member of Spraggs United Methodist Church.
He enjoyed gardening and working with wood. He had worked as a blacksmith for several years, was a carpenter and raised stock. On March 27, 1918, he married Grace Zimmerman Dulaney, who died November 25, 1979. Surviving are a son, William Lindsay Dulaney of Spraggs R.D.1; five grandchildren, Walter Dulaney Jr., Sue Ellen Benner, Terry Dulaney, Larry Dulaney and Coral Westfall; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two sons, Walter V. Dulaney and Reason Franklin Dulaney; two sisters, Mary M. Dulaney and Martha Gutberlet; and three brothers, F. Ray Dulaney, David H. Dulaney and Rex Dulaney.

DULANEY - A memorial service for Forney L. Dulaney of Spraggs, who died Thursday, July 13, 2000, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 5, in Spraggs United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Kenneth Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Claughton Cemetery, Whiteley Township. Funeral arrangements were handled by Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., 197 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg.
