Fred "Taddy" Crovetti Jr, 89 of Kincaid died Saturday, May 1, 2004, at Meadow Manor Nursing Home.

He was born December 20, 1914, in Pawnee, the son of Fred and Pauline Norville Crovetti. He married Elizabeth Bucshon in 1941 in Napoleon, Ohio.

Mr Crovetti owned and operated Taddy's Garage in Kincaid for 10 years. In 1976, he retired from Peabody Mine 10 Pawnee ater 20 years.

He was lifetime member of Kincaid American Legion Post 905 and Taylorville VFW Post 4495. he was member of St. Rita Catholic Church in Kincaid and united Mine Workers of America Local 9819. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Surviors: wife, Elizabeth; three nieces; and three nephews.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Masterson funeral Home, Kincaid, the Rev. Charles Dahlby officiating. Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Pawnee.
