Wm. Hughes died on Saturday of pneumonia fever, and was buried at Laflin Creek Cemetery Sunday afternoon. He leaves a wife and six children. To the bereaved, we extend heartful sympathy. Funeral services were conducted by J.D. Harmon.
William was the son of Claiborn R. Hughes and Sophia Emma McDaniel and the husband of Maude Myrtle Jackson.
He was second husband of Maude Jackson and they had four children: William Alfred, Fern Odetta, Naomi Daisy, and Thelma Odean.
(Maude also married George R. Carroll (div), Charles E. Erwin and Robert I. Aldridge.)
