June Patricia Decker was my grandmother, she was born in Staten Island, New York in 1923. Her parents were European immigrants whom had settled in the Port Richmond area of the island where they had one daughter and four sons.
June's first marriage was to Frank Sahaj, a time-study engineer at General Motors. they had one daughter, Carol. Her second Marriage, to David Post yielded a son David Jr.
June ran a hair salon and later, a retirement home for the elderly. She was a regular New York City lady and enjoyed dining out.
She is survived by her son and daughter, two granddaughters, Lisa and Amanda, and one great-grand-daughter, Christen.
