Beulah Mae Black, 90, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, at her home in Aurora, Colo.
She was born Nov. 18, 1918, in Minneola to Tom and Elma Meade Creamer.
Her family later moved to Ulysses, where she first worked as a waitress at Arnold's Restaurant. She later was a homemaker, and she enjoyed crocheting, playing cards and visiting with family.
On. Nov. 20, 1936, she married Leroy Black at the courthouse in Meade. He preceded her in death in July 1979.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Black of Joplin, Mo., and Ronald Black of Aurora; one sister, Geth Bug Gillett of Dodge City; one brother, Tom Creamer of Dodge City; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Claude Creamer and Delbert Creamer; one sister, Lillian Sexton; and a grandson.
Graveside services were at Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses.
