George C. Backer of Levittown died Tuesday, January 6, 2009. George was born in Mineola, New York. He is the son of the late George H Backer and Alma V. (Skog) Backer. He is survived by his loving wife Frances (Spano) Backer, son, George Backer, Jr. and daughter Diana.
George worked for Grumman Aerospace and later Northrop Grumman for over 35 years.
