Funeral services for Mrs. Goldie Higley, 69, will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Palmer-Waters chapel here with the Rev. Earle Shipley officiating. Burial will be in the Arroyo Grande cemetery.
Mrs. Higley, native of Minnesota and resident of Grover City for the past two years, died at her home Saturday morning following a sudden illness. She was born on Nov. 27, 1884 in Pelican Rapids, Minn., and resided in Santa Maria before coming to Grover City. She is survived by her husband, Silas W. Higley of Grover City; three sons, George W. Higley, Delbert S. Higley and Phillip E. Higley of Uleta, Florida; two daughters, Mrs. Ermina S. Morris and Mrs. Goldie Goudge; a brother Harvey D. Smith; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
