Zelda was the oldest of seven children born to Charles Henry Wilburn and Jennie Weaver (Miller) Huffman. She married Russell Pinkney Pope and they had three children: Jennie P. and Russell Welborn, Jimmy Ray.

Baptist Church. Visitation is 7 to 8:30 tonight at Cavin Funeral Home.
Survivors are her son, Russell Pope of Monroe; daughter, Mrs. Jennie Coates of Greensboro; brothers, Charles Huffman of Connelly Springs, Tom Huffman of
Hickory, Marvin Huffman of Blowing Rock; sisters, Mrs. Helen Spencer, Mrs.
Fannie Lail, both of Conover.
Memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church building fund, 525 S.

MOORESVILLE - Mrs. Zelda Huffman Pope, 80, of Estelle Road died Aug. 5, 1992, at Catawba Memorial Hospital in Hickory.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Southside Baptist Church in Mooresville, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Park.
A native of Catawba County, she was a homemaker and a member of the Ruby McDonald Sunday School Class at her church.
Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Jennie P. Coates of Greensboro; son, Russell W. Pope of Monroe; sisters, Mrs. Helen Spencer, Mrs. Fannie Lail, both of Conover; brothers, Charles Huffman of Conley Springs, Tom Huffman of Hickory, Marvin Huffman of Blowing Rock; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
The family will be at Cavin Funeral Home 7-8:30 tonight.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Southside Baptist Church Building Fund, 525 S. Broad St., Mooresville, N.C. 28115.
