Funeral Service Held for Charles Ray, 94
Armour, S.D. - Special: Funeral services were held recently in the Armour Community church for Charles Ray, 94, with Rev. Ralph Hoffman in charge. Mr. Ray was born in Warren county, Ill. He came to Douglas county, S.D., in 1899.
In 1879 he married Priscilla Baker, who survives. Two children also survive, a son, Ed Ray of Detroit and a daughter, Mrs. Stella Jordan, Yankton. Three other children preceded him in death. Burial was in Pleasant Ridge cemetery.
