Survivors: Husband, JohnnyArmstrong; daughters, Ella Ruth Gambrell and Charlene Ann Blassingame, both of Greenville, and Rosetta Anderson of Taylors; sons, Johnny Furman Armstrong Jr. of San Diego, Calif., and John Milton Armstrong of Greenville; mother, Ella Pasley; a sister, Dorothy Suber, of Greenville; brothers, Wallace and William Hunter, and Marvin Pasley, all of Greenville; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased: Father, Boyce Hunter.

Service: 2 p.m. Friday at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary. Burial: Greenville Memorial Gardens.
