Leander Marks, of 505 18th St.. died at 1:30 p.m. yesterday, after an extended illness.
He was born in Port Matilda July 15, 1892, a son of James and Madoria (Lewis) Marks, and married Lucille MacCarl in Akron, Ohio, Oct. 1, 1916.
Surviving are his wife, a sister, Mrs. Jessie I. Greiner of Altoona, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Marks retired April 18, 1957, from the Altoona Works car shops.
Friends will be received in the Bigelow Funeral Home from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
