I had the GREAT privilege of working with Eula for two years. We stayed in touch over the years and continued to have some wonderful times. Eula was a very intelligent woman, she gave me some invaluable advice that I use to this day. She was a very talented artist, selling her paintings at area craft shows. The world is a little colder without her.

Found Eula's parents on the 1920 Census; also found her father with her paternal grandparents, Philip D Spohn and Frankie L (Dikeman) Spohn on the 1900 and 1910 Censuses all in Hayes Township, McPherson, Kansas. Philip's parents are Andrew Spohn (d.1860) and Sarah (Mumma) Spohn (1831-1899), who married (second) Andrew Strauss.
Did a search: Ralph E Spohn, lead me to "A Genealogical Record of the Descendants of Martin Oberholtzer", page 169.
