~~Abraham Endsley McGee and Margeret Bellis were married in Ray County, Missouri. A few years after their marriage they traveled by wagon train from Ray County Missouri and arrived in Oregon country August 25, 1853. They had Oregon donation land claim: RB178. A. E. McGee was a member of the Legislature of Oregon, Douglas County, when Oregon took statehood in 1858-1859.~~
