Alexander's marker standing upright for the first time in at least 30 years. Work accomplished on August 9, 2012 by Douglas County Sheriff's Office inmates.

This marker was missing for more than 30 years. It was found on July 26, 2012 next to his wife's grave but under 3 inches of dirt. The prize for finding it goes to Harry Moody, working with the Douglas County Cemetery Preservation Commission.
