Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, August 9, 2002 at Broussard's in Nederland with Rev. Frank Bishop and Rev. Jimmy Robbins officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland. A gathering of friends will be from 5 to 7 pm Thursday evening at the mortuary.
Mr. Bishop was a native of Montgomery, Louisiana and lived 44 years in the Nederland area. He was retired from Mobil Chemical in the production department with 30 years of service. He also owned and operated the Pitt Bar-B-Que on West Port Arthur road for 6 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife Gloria; one son, Brad Bishop of Nederland; one brother, Frank Bishop of Seminary, Mississippi; two sisters, Jeanette Davison and Barbara Lawson both of Montgomery, Louisiana.
