NATHAN HORTON, son of Richard Horton and Elizabeth Harrison, was born in Radnor, PA., in 1754. He married Rebecca Priest and finally settled in Huntingdon County, PA. They had ten children. The first four were born in West Chester, PA., and the others in Huntingdon County, PA. Nathan Horton was a soldier of the Revolution, serving in Capt. Comfort Starr's Company of Guilford, Vermont, as private in 1780.
