Betty Ragsdale Triplett
Betty Ragsdale Triplett, age 78, formerly of Hudson, N.C. died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, at Brian Center East in Hickory.
She was born Feb. 9, 1930, in Caldwell County, to the late James and Wilta Lou Carlton Ragsdale.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, David Ragsdale, and a sister, Barbara Ann Ragsdale.
Mrs. Triplett was of the Baptist faith and worked for Shufford Mills for 42 years.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Steven Triplett, and his wife, Jennifer, of Granite Falls and Terry Walter Triplett and his wife, Deborah, of Lexington; three sisters, Mrs. Tana Moretz and Mrs. Shirley Roots, both of Lenoir, and Mrs. Marion Poarch of Hudson; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lenoir conducted by the Rev. Ed Armfield.
