Tim was born in San Bernardino, CA on Nov. 3, 1953. His parents are Paul (deceased) and Anna (Ann) Poland. He attended schools in Yucaipa, CA, graduating from Yucaipa High School.
He moved with his family to Visalia in June 1972. In 1973 he graduated from Ryder Truck Driving School and pursued his career as a truck driver and owner operator. He also owned a business, Sierra Off Road Supply for several years. In 1999 he moved to Phoenix, AZ and later to Des Moines, IA.
Tim is survived by his wife of seven years, Patti, stepsons Joe and David and their families, mother Anna (Ann) Poland, sister Terri Shamroukh, nieces Shannon and Samia, grandniece Breanna, aunts and uncles Emma and Woody Woodward and Joe and Frances Mueller, numerous cousins and many friends throughout the continental United States. Tim was preceded in death by his father Paul, his grandmother Ella Woolsey, and his grandparents Al and Emma Bottini.
