Funeral services for John Linton Newhouse, 49, were held at the Church of Christ at Selfs Monday afternoon. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery.
Mr. Newhouse was born Oct. 15, 1898 in Fannin county and was married to Miss Irene Wright June 22, 1919.
Survivors include the widow: four sons, Hershel, Lavon, J. L. and Dean Newhouse; three daughters, Misses Monda Fae, Fetty and Katie Lynn Newhouse; three sisters, two brothers and one grandchild.
