On the Lexington alarm roll, April 19, 1775, he appears as a private in Joseph Moses’s company, Colonel Samuel Bullard’s regiment. His last days were spent in Claremont, his death occurring at the age of eighty-nine years. His children were: Josiah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (twins) Elizabeth, Hannah, Phoebe, and Prudence.
