Obituary
Death of Mrs Mabel Warner in New York.
Como, (Putnam co FL) Aug 26.- The sad news has just been received here of the death of Mrs Mabel Warner, the young wife of F M Warner, manager of Bretton Hall, New York, and brother of Miss Carrie Carter of Como, and Binghamton NY.
Mr and Mrs Warner spent last winter in Como, where they made many friends.
The funeral was held at Bretton Hall, in New York, and was largely attended. One room was entirely filled with flowers. The interment was at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mrs Warner had a lovely character, and was a devoted wife and daughter. She was the daughter of wealthy parents and seemed to have everything one could wish. For many winters she accompanied her parents to Florida, before her marriage, less than a year ago; and as they were guests of the Ponce de Leon and other hotels in the State they have many friends in Palatka and Jacksonville and among the winter guests and people of Florida.
